Job summary

Proximie is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to lead healthcare data integration with customer EHR systems. You will design HL7 interfaces and ETL pipelines, enabling secure, scalable data exchange across US partners while ensuring data quality and compliance.

The role focuses on real-time and batch integrations, cross-functional collaboration, and alignment with platform capabilities to drive operational efficiency at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare data integration experience, preferably with EHR systems.
• Strong hands-on with HL7 v2.x messaging and interface engines.
• Proficiency in ETL and scripting (Python, SQL) for data transformation/validation.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, and data privacy standards.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and troubleshoot independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration, especially with customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain HL7 interfaces (ADT, ORU, ORM) for real-time/batch data exchange.
• Stand up file-based and HL7-based integrations to meet onboarding timelines.
• Develop and manage ETL pipelines for clinical data transformation and validation.
• Collaborate with customer IT teams to define requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Validate data completeness, accuracy, and consistency across exchanges.
• Coordinate with product/engineering and success teams to align integration efforts.
• Document workflows, mappings, and specifications for stakeholders.
