Job summary

Altera Digital Health is seeking a Senior HL7 Interface Developer to design, develop, test and support healthcare integration solutions. You will build HL7 interfaces, perform message mapping, transformations, routing and validation across systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in healthcare integration, deep HL7 v2.x experience, and hands-on work with interface engines such as Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf or Corepoint. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

5+ years of healthcare integration experience.
Strong hands-on HL7 coding and development.
Expertise with HL7 v2.x messaging and workflows.
Experience with common interface engines for healthcare.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, code, test, debug, and maintain healthcare interfaces and integration workflows.
Develop and support HL7 interfaces, including message mapping, transformations, routing, validation, and troubleshooting.
Analyze and resolve complex interface issues using logs and debugging tools.
Translate business requirements into integration specifications and designs.
Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver integration solutions.
Support interface development lifecycle from requirements to production.
