Job summary

Proximie Limited is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to lead the US integration of our Surgical and Intelligence Suites with customer EHR systems, enabling real-time data exchange and scalable clinical insights. You will design HL7 interfaces (ADT, ORU, ORM), stand up file-based and HL7-based integrations, and develop ETL pipelines to transform and validate diverse clinical data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare data integration.
• HL7 v2.x messaging standards experience.
• ETL tools and scripting (Python/SQL) for data transformation and validation.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards (FHIR, CDA, GDPR) and privacy regulations (HIPAA).
• Strong ability to analyze data and troubleshoot integration issues independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain HL7 interfaces (ADT, ORU, ORM) for real-time and batch data exchange with customer EHR systems.
• Rapidly stand-up file-based and HL7-based integrations to meet onboarding timelines.
• Develop and manage ETL pipelines for transforming and validating clinical data from diverse sources.
• Collaborate with customer IT teams to define integration requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform data analysis and validation to ensure data completeness and accuracy.
• Work with product, engineering, and customer success teams to align integration with platform goals.
• Document integration workflows, data mappings, and technical specs.
