Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies in Austin, TX, seeks a Sr. Backend .NET Developer for a 3‑month contract-to-possible-extension. The role is hybrid: 4 days on site and 1 day WFH, part of the Online Security Modernization Technology team.

You will lead server-side development with C#/.NET, contribute as a hands-on designer, mentor juniors, and collaborate across product, QA, and Ops to deliver secure, scalable authentication solutions in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related technical field.
7+ years hands-on app programming and/or test automation in Agile environments.
Proficient in .NET technologies.
At least 3 years leadership delivering technical innovations across teams.
Experience with authentication protocols and IAM systems.
Experience with databases like MongoDB/Aerospike.
Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tooling.

Responsibilities

Lead development and delivery of software through QA, UAT, and Production phases.
Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and budget alignment.
Provide accurate development sizing and cost estimates with Scrum team.
Decompose stories, design features, and prioritize tasks.
Use automated tests and TDD to maintain quality.
Support authentication between internal and external systems.
Mentor junior team members and coordinate offshore/onshore collaboration.
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Review code quality and design with the team.
