Job summary

Bart & Associates, Inc. seeks a Senior .NET Systems Architect / Developer to support a federal program within a legacy tech environment. The role focuses on maintaining, enhancing, and stabilizing systems while enabling data movement and integration across platforms.

The ideal candidate has strong .NET/C# development skills, experience with legacy COBOL/mainframe components, and a proven ability to improve deployment workflows and interoperability. Active Top Secret clearance expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–8+ years in software development or system architecture.
• Strong experience with .NET Framework / .NET Core and C#.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of .NET/C# applications in a legacy environment (MS Visual Studio).
• Stabilize and coordinate development and production environments with stakeholders.
• Design data movement/integration solutions across multiple platforms.
• Analyze existing systems (including mainframe components) and propose enhancements.
• Support ETL processes and data modeling for reliable data flow.
• Collaborate with federal staff, vendors, and internal teams for continuity.
