Arena Technical Resources, LLC (ATR) is seeking a Senior .NET Systems Architect / Developer to support a federal program in a legacy environment. The role emphasizes modernization, data integration, and reliability across platforms.

The candidate should have .NET/C# expertise, experience with COBOL/mainframe contexts, and ability to collaborate with federal staff and vendors to ensure continuity of operations. Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of software development and/or system architecture experience.
• Proficiency with .NET Framework / .NET Core and C# development.
• Experience with data integration, data movement, or ETL processes.
• Familiarity with COBOL or mainframe environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain .NET/C# applications within a legacy system environment using Visual Studio.
• Stabilize development and production environments and coordinate deployments with stakeholders.
• Design data movement and integration across legacy systems, databases, and modern tools.
• Analyze existing systems (including COBOL/mainframe components) and recommend performance improvements.
• Support data modeling and ETL processes for reliable data flow.
• Collaborate with federal staff, vendors, and internal teams for continuity of operations.
• Contribute to system and network architecture discussions, including connectivity and performance considerations.
• Evaluate modern tools to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability within existing constraints.
• Assist with documentation and knowledge transfer.
