Bart & Associates, LLC is seeking a Senior .NET Systems Architect / Developer to support a federal program in a legacy environment while enabling ongoing enhancements and integration. The role focuses on maintaining, enhancing, and stabilizing existing systems and contributing to data movement and deployment improvements.

The ideal candidate will have strong .NET/C# experience, familiarity with legacy systems, and a track record in data integration across multiple platforms, with collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5-8+ years of software development and/or system architecture experience.
• Strong experience with .NET Framework / .NET Core and C# development.
• Experience with legacy systems (COBOL/mainframe) and data integration/ETL.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting development/deployment environments.
• Knowledge of system integration and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Support .NET/C# applications in a legacy environment using Visual Studio.
• Stabilize development and production environments with stakeholders.
• Design data movement and integration across platforms.
• Analyze legacy components (COBOL/mainframe) for improvements.
• Support data modeling and ETL for reliable data flow.
• Collaborate with federal staff, vendors, and internal teams.
• Contribute to system and network architecture discussions.
• Evaluate modern tools to enhance data processing.
