Job summary

Productiv is seeking a proactive Backend NestJs Developer to maintain a live, business-critical microservices platform while delivering meaningful improvements on top of it. This hands-on role offers autonomy: you will own bug reports or changes from investigation to production, balancing production support with feature work, supported by a collaborative team.

You will work with Node.js/TypeScript and NestJS across services, ensure robust REST interfaces, and maintain external integrations.

Qualifications

Proven ownership from bug to deployed solution.
Backend experience with Node.js/TypeScript and NestJS.
Strong PostgreSQL knowledge and safe migration practices.

Responsibilities

Triage and resolve production issues across distributed microservices.
Investigate root causes, apply fixes, add regression tests, and document findings so issues don’t recur.
Deliver enhancements to existing services, including payments and integrations.
Follow architecture patterns and shared internal libraries from API gateway to business logic services.
Maintain and extend integrations with external platforms (CRM, ERPs, payment, email, storage).
Write and update database migration scripts and analyze data-related production issues.
Collaborate with QA and product to verify fixes and explain edge cases.
Improve observability and documentation, participate in code reviews, and keep docs current.
