Job summary

Casechek is seeking a senior backend software engineer to design, build, and scale cloud-based solutions for our hybrid/mobile-first platform. You’ll own APIs, services, and data models, collaborating with product and engineering to deliver reliable software for the implant lifecycle.

The role emphasizes NestJS, TypeScript, AWS, and REST API design within a fast-paced, collaborative team that balances in-person and remote work across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with NestJS and designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting an AWS-hosted SaaS product.
• Experience building scalable, performant, and reliable software solutions.
• Familiarity with relational database technologies and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance mobile and web products that improve the implant supply chain.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy modular cloud-based systems using modern software development practices.
• Architect technical solutions and translate product goals into deliverables.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other teams to define technical approaches.
• Develop scalable, reliable software and maintain REST APIs and integrations.
• Ensure applications perform well across web and mobile environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system performance and maintainability.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development and drive engineering best practices.
