As a Senior Negotiation Lead in the Corporate StrategicProcurement Department at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role inshaping and executing high-stakes negotiation strategies that drive value forthe company. You will be the go-to expert for complex negotiations, providingboth hands-on and strategic guidance to transform settings andoutcomes. Each day, you will engage in impactful negotiations, optimizesupplier agreements, and enhance procurement processes. Your expertise willdirectly influence our corporate procurement strategies, contributing toSiemens Energy’s mission of reimagining energy for a sustainable world.

How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

· Collaborate with our commodity managers toprepare, develop, and implement negotiation strategies that optimize supplieragreements, achieving significant impact through cost optimization and costrecovery.
· Act as a lead-negotiator in challengingnegotiations with key suppliers to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
· Establish a negotiation competence hub incollaboration with colleagues, serving the needs of a globally operatingblue-chip company.
· Validate and shape how negotiation targets andoutcomes are defined.
· Collaborate cross-functionally to alignnegotiation strategies with overall procurement objectives and adviseProcurement executives.
· Provide guidance and training to the procurementteam on negotiation best practices.
· Engage with our commodity managers to ensurethat negotiation outcomes and lessons learned are feedback into respectivecorporate procurement strategies
· Champion digital innovation and strategicthinking to transform negotiation processes across the organization.
· Continuously identify and embed opportunitiesfor improvement across our end-to-end negotiation lifecycle process.
· Foster a culture of excellence and continuousimprovement to adopt a ‘negotiation mindset’

What You Bring (requirements)

· A minimum of 10 years extensive hands-onexperience in high-stakes negotiations as a senior negotiator in strategicprocurement or sales, backed by a proven record of success.
· In-depth understanding of negotiationprinciples, practices, and procedures.
· Superior analytical and strategic thinkingcapabilities.
· Outstanding communication skills as well asexperience in building strong internal networks and effectively advocating forideas within the organization.
· Ability to coach and challenge colleagues acrossdifferent levels of seniority
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain,Engineering or a related field. Master’s or MBA is a plus.
· Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectivelywithin a team and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
· Applicants must be legally authorized foretmer employment in the United States without need for current or futureemployer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with currentvisa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
