Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Negotiation Lead in its Corporate Strategic Procurement Department in the United States. You will shape and execute high-stakes negotiation strategies, mentor teams, and drive value through optimized supplier agreements and improved procurement processes.

With a track record of success in complex negotiations, you will influence corporate procurement decisions, collaborate across functions, and champion digital innovation to transform negotiation practices

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in high-stakes negotiations in strategic procurement or sales.
• Deep understanding of negotiation principles, practices, and procedures.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to build internal networks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with commodity managers to develop and implement negotiation strategies with cost optimization.
• Lead negotiations with key suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Establish a negotiation competence hub for global blue-chip operations.
• Shape how negotiation targets and outcomes are defined.
• Advise executives and align negotiation strategies with procurement objectives.
• Coach and train procurement teams on best practices.
• Ensure lessons learned feed back into corporate strategies.
