In this role, you will act as the primary interface between internal stakeholders and external suppliers, proactively identifying and mitigating supply chain risks. You will monitor supplier performance, support quality issue resolution, and contribute to target costing and digital procurement initiatives. Success requires strong technical understanding, strategic sourcing expertise, and the ability to influence across a manufacturing-driven organization.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Lead supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order execution for complex machined parts, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Coordinate the daily activities and performance of a team of four buyers to ensure operational efficiency and effective workload distribution.
  • Act as the primary interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring clear communication, issue resolution, and alignment across the supply chain.
  • Identify supply chain risks, performance gaps, and process inefficiencies, implementing mitigation and continuous improvement actions.
  • Monitor supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance and drive corrective action plans in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Support resolution of supplier non-conformance issues in close partnership with Quality Management to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards.
  • Contribute to target costing initiatives and the adoption of digital procurement tools to improve efficiency, transparency, and procurement performance.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, or supplier management within a manufacturing or technical environment, preferably supporting machined or engineered components.
  • Strong experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management within a manufacturing or technical environment, with knowledge of machined parts and procurement best practices.
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and risk mitigation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a complex supply chain.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator with hands‑on experience using SAP and digital procurement tools to support data‑driven decision‑making.
