122 Altasciences Preclinical Columbia LLC is seeking a Senior Necropsy Technician to perform complex necropsy and tissue collection in GLP-compliant studies. You will coordinate study readiness, maintain specimen traceability, and train junior technicians while ensuring data integrity in the EDCS system.

Responsibilities include protocol review, tissue processing, and supporting lead technologist growth, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and timely study delivery across pathology workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and substantial relevant laboratory or necropsy experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a biological science preferred.
• Experience following study protocols and SOPs.
• Proficiency with electronic data systems and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving under time pressure.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform necropsies and tissue collection per SOPs.
• Coordinate study setup and readiness.
• Record data in EDCS and perform quality checks.
• Train and guide technicians.
• Maintain necropsy suites and equipment.
• Participate in GLP training and on-call rotation.
