Job summary

Carpenter Technology Corporation is seeking a NDT Level III – Senior Engineer I to lead advanced nondestructive testing programs on the Clearwater, FL facility floor. You will review NDT requirements, write procedures, and lead qualification and certification for NDT personnel, ensuring compliance with AS9100/Nadcap audits.

You will coach operators, standardize processes, analyze data, and interact with customers and auditors to resolve technical questions while driving continuous quality

Qualifications

• Must be qualified and certifiable to NDT Level III in UT method.
• Over 5 years of related NDT experience.
• Thorough knowledge of NDT system management and audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret NDT requirements; write procedures.
• Lead and administer qualification/certification program for NDT operators.
• Interface with customers and auditors on NDT questions.
• Lead audits: customer, AS9100, Nadcap.
• Improve NDT processes and equipment per Carpenter practices.
• Work on factory floor with NDT technicians to solve issues.
• Maintain records and certifications.
