Job summary

Dynamet Incorporated in Clearwater, FL seeks an NDT Level III Senior Engineer I to lead, interpret, and document NDT requirements, manage the qualifications program, and partner with customers and auditors to ensure compliance.

This role focuses on advancing NDT processes, coordinating audits (AS9100/Nadcap), maintaining records, and mentoring technicians on the plant floor, with strong emphasis on quality, root-cause analysis, and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Must hold NDT Level III qualification in UT per SNT-TC-1A NAS 410
• 5+ years related NDT experience
• Certified in other NDT methods is a plus

Responsibilities

• Review NDT requirements and write procedures
• Lead and administer qualification/certification program for NDT operators
• Interface with customers and auditors on technical NDT questions
• Support NDT operations with training and troubleshooting
• Improve NDT processes, equipment and instrumentation per Carpenter best practices
• Lead external and internal audits (customer, AS9100, Nadcap) of NDT operations
• Maintain records and documentation for NDT calibrations, evaluations, and certifications
• Develop and implement new NDT equipment and processes
