Job summary

Johnson Service Group seeks a Quality Engineer to lead and execute NDT activities in compliance with NAS 410 and customer specs. You will oversee Level III aspects, including certification program management, procedure development, and qualification of personnel.

The role focuses on ensuring audit-ready records, training material development, and coordination with outside NDT agencies to uphold stringent process standards.

Qualifications

• ASNT Level III or NAS 410 certification required or equivalent NAS 410/NDT 1052 training.
• Must complete NWI certification exams and visual acuity testing.
• Minimum 36 months of experience as a Level II in the applicable method(s).
• Working knowledge of Rockwell Hardness and Conductivity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's NDT Certification Program.
• Approve and manage outside NDT agencies.
• Ensure compliance with internal and customer NDT requirements, including completion of required gap analyses.
• Prepare and maintain NDT training materials; administer written, practical, and visual acuity examinations.
• Maintain and organize certification and qualification records for audit readiness.
• Review NDT process plans to ensure proper sequencing of inspection operations.
• Serve as or support the Responsible Level III in accordance with NAS 410.
