Navaide is seeking an experienced Senior Government Accounting & Financial Management Analyst to support financial operations, accounting process improvement, and enterprise financial systems within the Department of the Navy.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on federal government accounting experience, understand financial execution, appropriations, and enterprise financial management systems, and own efforts to improve accounting processes and performance.

Qualifikationen

• 5–7+ years in federal government accounting or comptroller operations.
• Strong knowledge of federal accounting principles, appropriations, funds execution, and reconciliations.
• Experience analyzing financial transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Ability to research policies and interpret regulations independently.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Aufgaben

• Investigate and resolve complex Navy ERP accounting issues using federal policies.
• Determine accounting treatments and corrective actions for financial accuracy and audit readiness.
• Analyze GL postings, reconciliations, fund balances, and discrepancies to identify root causes.
• Support operations involving military and civilian DoD pay and appropriations.
• Collaborate with comptrollers, accounting teams, and IT to improve system operations.
• Research regulations and develop defensible, compliant solutions.
