Job summary

RTX's Advanced Effector Guidance Systems (AEGS) Department in Tucson, AZ seeks a Navigation/IMU engineer to help select IMUs, test them, and integrate them into navigation subsystems. You will work with experienced engineers to apply cutting-edge technology in a collaborative environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field, 5+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. Some travel and cross-program work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Master’s or Ph.D. may substitute for experience.
• Knowledge of IMU selection and navigation subsystem integration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support IMU selection, testing, and performance analysis.
• Develop IMU requirements and test plans; peer reviews of designs.
• Communicate status to leadership and government customers.
• Work in an IPT environment with engineers to integrate subsystems.
• Travel may be required, including foreign travel.
