RTX's Advanced Effector Guidance Systems (AEGS) Department seeks a Navigation/IMU Engineer in Tucson to work with experienced engineers to select IMUs and integrate them into navigation subsystems. You will analyze IMU performance, set up tests, and document requirements and test plans within a collaborative IPT environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related STEM, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience; advanced degree may substitute for experience.

Responsabilidades

• Support IMU selection, testing, and analysis within programs.
• Interface with IMU suppliers and document IMU requirements and test plans.
• Conduct peer reviews of designs and present findings to peers and government customers.
• Work in an IPT environment and communicate status to leadership.
• Travel may be required; mentoring and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop a network to access needed expertise.
