Job summary

RTX is seeking an entry-level Navigation/IMU Engineer for its AE​GS Department in Tucson, AZ. You will work with senior engineers to select IMUs and integrate them into navigation subsystems, analyze performance data, and document requirements.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 2+ years of relevant work, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. Onsite work with occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional work experience (internships excluded).
• Advanced degree can substitute for experience: Master’s = 2 years, PhD = 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist in IMU selection and testing, and analyze IMU performance data.
• Interface with IMU suppliers and document requirements and test plans.
• Conduct peer reviews of designs and present findings to peers and government customers.
• Lead root-cause investigations and coordinate with IPTs on integrations.
