General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks an engineer for the VIRGINIA Class HM&E Sacrificial Anode Engineering group. The role requires leading small teams, independent work, and collaboration with NAVSEA, vendors, and the design community.

Candidates should have a BS in Electrical, Chemical, or Ocean engineering, 5+ years of post-grad experience, and the ability to obtain a Secret DoD clearance. Preferred background includes military/marine applications and cathodic protection knowledge.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Chemical or Ocean engineering.
• 5+ years of post-graduate engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the DoD.

Responsabilidades

• Lead coordination between system engineering, configuration management, software developers, QA and software test as applicable.
• Lead coordination between multi-system engineering groups, arrangement design and product/system testing as applicable.
• Responsible for cost and schedule performance of assigned tasks and managing multiple projects.
• Develop and present system information as the design progresses and perform system calculations, arrangement validation, component development, and tests.
• Contribute to developing new technologies or capabilities into responsible systems.
