Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer in Department 457 to support electrical systems for VIRGINIA, OHIO, LOS ANGELES, and SEAWOLF class submarines. You will receive dedicated mentorship and work across reactor plant, power generation, and distribution projects.

You’ll contribute to life cycle upgrades, design improvements, and cross-functional team collaboration, with formal onboarding and growth opportunities within a mission-critical defense environment.

Communicate effectively with NAVSEA, prime contractors, shipyards, and vendors.
Collaborate in a team to meet schedule and budget targets.
