Job summary
Amentum seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support the NSWC Dahlgren Division, focusing on AN/SQQ-89 Advanced Baselines for surface ASW. You will provide technical oversight and interface management to integrator developers and lead engineering reviews.
Requirements include 10+ years in combat systems and C2, experience with GOTS/COTS, and an active SECRET clearance. This onsite role is based in Manassas with potential travel to Dahlgren.
Qualifications
- Minimum of ten (10) years of professional systems engineering experience in support of Undersea Warfare.
- Experience with Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software technologies.
- Experience developing system integration documentation (ECPs, ICRs, IDS, WS).
- Active SECRET U.S. Government Clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Technical Oversight: provide guidance to integrator developers for AN/SQQ-89 Baselines and ensure performance and interface requirements are met.
- Engineering Analysis: conduct reviews including P-Spec, FDD, and IDS baseline releases.
- Requirements Management: participate in the AN/SQQ-89 Requirements Working Group for performance requirements (CRUDES and FMS).
- Bug adjudication: participate in Bug Adjudication Board to analyze reported issues.
- Onsite requirement: work onsite at Lockheed Martin in Manassas, with travel to NSWC Dahlgren.
