Amentum is seeking software engineers to support C/C++ development and integration for Naval projects in Dahlgren, Virginia. This on-site role contributes to a growing software center of excellence and involves working on DoW systems in a collaborative, mission-focused environment.

You will participate in Agile development with a Senior developer, ensuring robust software delivery and timely responses to evolving requirements while maintaining security clearances and site access.

Qualifications

• 0–10 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with Agile Development.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers and engineers.
• Active Secret U.S. Government clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform software development and integration using C/C++ for Naval projects.
• Support development within the SLBM system.
• Work with a Senior Amentum developer under Agile practices.
• Apply C and C++ knowledge to software development activities.
• Collaborate across teams to meet schedule-driven goals.
