Job summary

In-Depth Engineering Corporation in Manassas, Virginia, is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to support the AN/SQQ-89 Undersea Warfare Combat System for the U.S. Navy.

This full-time, on-site role coordinates software deliveries, develops and tests Linux scripts, and assists with patches in a simulated tactical lab environment. Candidates must be a US citizen and able to obtain an active DoD secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years Linux terminal experience.
• Strong Linux command-line and editing skills.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools.
• BASH or scripting language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform software deliveries to the customer.
• Develop and test Linux scripts to ease navigation within a Linux system.
• Support testing efforts by ensuring proper system configuration and applying patches.
• Assist with debugging using log files and source code.
