Job summary

TSC seeks a Systems Engineer VI-Principal to support NSWCDD Dahlgren Division. Based in Dahlgren, VA, you will join a team responsible for integrating AEGIS elements into baselines and conducting certification activities for combat systems.

The role requires extensive experience in naval combat systems, familiarity with certification processes, and the ability to brief senior DoD/DoN personnel. A DoD Secret Clearance is required and a STEM背景 is preferred.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of general Surface Navy Combat Systems engineering experience.
• Experience with Combat System, Warfare System or Element certification processes.
• Current DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support integration of AEGIS Weapon System elements into certified baselines.
• Perform combat system certification assessments per PEO IWS policy, assessing mission effectiveness, capabilities, and risks.
• Translate certification defects into operational risks, impacts and guidance.
