Job summary

Amentum seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support NSWC Dahlgren Division with technical oversight of AN/SQQ-89 Advanced Baselines. You will guide integrator developers, manage interface requirements, and contribute to baselines for CRUDES and FMS programs. Requires active SECRET clearance and extensive combat systems experience.

Onsite role at Lockheed Martin in Manassas with potential travel to Dahlgren. Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years in related fields; leadership in teams preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years experience in combat/surface ship USW for US/FMS.
• Experience in system integration documentation (ECPs, ICRs, IDS, WS).
• Proficiency with Navy/Joint warfighting capabilities and platform/C2/weapon systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for AN/SQQ-89 Baselines and ensure interface requirements are met.
• Conduct engineering reviews: P-Spec, FDD, IDS baseline releases.
• Participate in requirements working group for CRUDES and FMS baselines.
• Contribute to bug adjudication and capability certifications.
