Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Systems Controls and Simulation Engineer Level 5 to develop and support turbine generators for US Navy propulsion and power systems. Onsite 4 days a week; US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required.
Responsibilities include analyzing control performance, multi-physics modeling, and stability assessments using MATLAB/Simulink.
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12+ years of experience or higher degrees with required years.
- Experience in frequency domain analysis.
- Experience characterizing and analyzing system stability.
- Proficiency with block diagrams and linear algebra.
- Experience with grey-box model validation.
- US citizenship required; ability to obtain secret clearance.
- Experience with multiphysical system state-space modeling.
Responsabilidades
- Analyze control system performance using system models.
- Model dynamic multi-physics systems from first principles.
- Apply model reduction methods to simplify systems for control design.
- Perform linear systems analysis.
- Perform stability analysis.
- Build and parameterize uncertainty models.
- Develop nonlinear simulation models.
- Document work for engineering community and customer.
