Job summary

bizjobz LLC in New York, NY is seeking an experienced National Title Closing Coordinator/Processor to manage multi-state file opening, processing, and workflow coordination for both residential and commercial transactions. You will review title documents, coordinate with lenders, attorneys, and escrow officers, and draft preliminary requirements and notes for title commitments under underwriting guidance.

You’ll ensure timely communication and audit-ready records throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in commercial title processing, coordination, or underwriting support.
• Experience assisting senior underwriters in evaluating complex commercial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Open and establish new transaction files and draft preliminary requirements for title commitments.
• Review commercial real estate documents to identify title issues and underwriting risks.
• Coordinate all aspects of commercial title orders from opening to closing with clients and internal teams.
• Gather and organize documentation for underwriting decisions.
• Order and review due diligence items like title searches and tax certifications.
• Analyze title searches and surveys to identify defects or discrepancies.
• Prepare title commitments, reports, endorsements, and final policies.
• Work with escrow officers to clear title requirements and prepare for closing.
• Communicate with agents, attorneys, lenders and stakeholders to maintain workflow.
• Assist in curative issue resolution and tracking of outstanding requirements.
• Prepare endorsements and settlement statements for underwriting review.
• Maintain detailed file notes and audit-ready documentation.
