Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a National Commercial Title Coordinator and Processor to support multi-party real estate transactions. The role blends coordination, underwriting support, and file management in a fast-paced hybrid New York office.

You will open and track files, review loan documents, prepare commitments, resolve title defects, and liaise with lenders, attorneys, and clients.

Qualifications

4+ years of substantive experience in commercial title processing or related role.
Experience assisting underwriters and evaluating complex commercial transactions.
Knowledge of title insurance production software and industry platforms.

Responsibilities

Open and establish new transaction files and draft requirements for title commitments.
Review real estate documents to identify underwriting risks and actions.
Coordinate orders from opening to closing with clients, lenders, and attorneys.
Gather and organize documentation for underwriting decisions.
Order and review due diligence items like title searches and tax certifications.
Prepare title commitments, endorsements, and final policies.
Clear title requirements and support closing readiness.
Communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
Help resolve curative issues by researching public records.
Assist in post‑closing processes and audits.
