Job summary

SEIU, Service Employees International Union, seeks an Organizing Campaign Director to lead national strategic campaigns, coordinate multi-stakeholder organizing initiatives, and oversee campaign operations. The role requires strong planning, budgeting, and staff leadership, with remote work across the USA and willingness to travel.

The position reports to the National Organizing Hub and demands extensive experience in labor organizing, campaign management, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of external labor organizing experience; or a combination of eight (8) years external labor organizing and two (2) years of internal labor organizing.
• Eight (8) years of campaign planning and management experience with multi-component campaigns.
• Seven (7) years of direct supervisory or team management experience.
• Bachelor's degree is not required but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent and assist the International Union in organizing programs and campaigns.
• Develop, execute, and manage local, statewide, regional and/or national campaign strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholder locals to strengthen campaigns at multiple levels.
• Oversee campaign operations, budgeting, and staffing decisions.
• Coordinate data collection and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
