Job summary

SEIU (Service Employees International Union) is seeking an Organizing Campaign Director to lead nationwide strategic campaigns and organizing initiatives in a management capacity.

The role involves coordinating multi-component campaigns, collaborating with local, state, regional, and national unions, and overseeing budgets, staff, and data-driven decisions. Remote work and extensive travel are expected for this leadership position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years external labor organizing experience.
• Eight years campaign planning and management experience.
• Seven years direct supervisory or team management experience.
• Graduation from a four-year college is not required, but is a plus.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic campaign plans across multiple components.
• Experience building relationships with coalition partners and allies.

Responsibilities

• Develop campaign strategies and coordinate multi-component campaigns across field, digital, and communications.
• Collaborate with state, regional, and national unions to strengthen organizing programs.
• Oversee comprehensive campaigns, budgets, and staff hiring to reach campaign goals.
• Manage data collection and analysis to guide strategic decisions.
• Represent SEIU with government agencies, coalitions, and other stakeholders.
