Job summary

Stratas Foods, located in Memphis, TN, seeks an experienced commercial leader for its Inside Sales Team. This opportunity is for either a Sr. Category Manager or a National Category Manager, relying on the candidate's skills and experience.

The role entails managing customer relationships, developing category strategies, and analyzing market trends to drive business performance. Strong candidates will have significant experience in category management and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in category management, sales support, finance, procurement, or related commercial roles for Sr. Category Manager.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in category management or commercial leadership for National Category Manager.
• Strong analytical, financial, and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen customer relationships while fostering a culture of exceptional service.
• Manage a strategic book of business, providing category expertise through pricing.
• Develop and execute category strategies that drive profitable growth.
• Analyze commodity markets and pricing trends to support decisions.
• Own category forecasting and collaborate with Supply Chain.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to increase sales volume.
• Lead category-related projects and initiatives.
