Job summary

Sigma Foods is seeking a Category Analyst to guide category opportunities and key goals in partnership with sales and marketing. You will propose actionable insights and tactical directions to help sales teams achieve brand objectives.

The role covers creating pricing strategies, category planning, and delivering analytical support across multiple reports and dashboards. Strong data literacy and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Marketing or related field.
• Three years of related experience.
• One year of experience in Syndicated Data and/or Consumer Packaged Goods.

Responsibilities

• Develop presentations that support category direction and marketing/sales initiatives.
• Build and maintain pricing strategies with Sales and Marketing management.
• Provide analytical support and data to meet retailer objectives and requests from sales/marketing.
• Create dashboard sales reports for status updates and causal factors.
• Execute category planning and provide data-driven recommendations for local customers.
• Validate brand segmentation across geographies and build brand fact bases.
• Generate and track promotional spend reports to assess effectiveness.
• Distribute reporting information including Executive Management reports and customer reviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
