Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a National Bridge Design Leader to shape a growing Bridge & Structures practice. You will drive technical leadership, pursue and deliver complex bridge work, and mentor the next generation of engineers while expanding Ulteig's national presence.

Responsibilities include leading projects for state DOTs and agencies, developing scopes and budgets, and guiding technical strategy across the practice. A PE license and substantial bridge experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering; master's preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with U.S. eligibility.
• Significant bridge design and review experience with DOT/municipal/tribal clients.
• Experience with advanced bridge analysis platforms and software.
• Proven ability to lead technical pursuits and client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex bridge and structural projects from concept to completion.
• Provide technical direction, reviews, and ensure safety and constructability.
• Develop scopes, budgets, and schedules; manage multi-disciplinary teams.
• Cultivate client relationships and pursue new opportunities.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Support proposals with technical strategy and win themes.
