Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a National Bridge Design Leader to shape the growth of a rapidly expanding Bridge & Structures practice. You will lead complex bridge projects, guide technical direction, and mentor engineers while expanding Ulteig's presence across the U.S. regions.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, client development, and market growth as you collaborate with DOTs, tribal nations, and municipalities, with travel about 10–20% and a flexible hybrid/remote work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering; a master's preferred.
• PE license required; authorization to work in the U.S..
• Significant bridge engineering experience with design and review for DOTs, municipalities, or tribal entities.
• Experience with advanced bridge analysis/design platforms listed above.
• Proven ability to lead projects, manage scope, schedule, and client communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex bridge engineering efforts from concept through completion with high quality.
• Manage scopes, budgets, and schedules with disciplined execution.
• Develop strong client relationships and pursue strategic opportunities.
