Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking a National Bridge Design Leader to shape a growing bridge and structures practice across multiple regions. You will lead projects from concept to delivery, mentor engineers, and expand Ulteig's client base with a focus on quality and engineering excellence.

The role emphasizes technical credibility, business development, and building a nationally recognized bridge practice while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Required civil/structural engineering degree with PE license.
• Experience in bridge design and review for DOTs, municipalities, or tribal entities.
• Proven ability to lead complex bridge projects and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex bridge engineering efforts from concept to completion with high quality delivery.
• Address advanced structural challenges including curved girders and seismic/ice loading.
• Review designs and oversee third-party work for safety and constructability.
• Manage scopes, budgets, and schedules with clear communication.
• Develop client relationships and pursue strategic opportunities.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative team culture.

Education

Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering
