Job summary

Nouryon is seeking a Regional Finance Operations Controller for NAM to lead finance operations across North America from Houston or Radnor. You will ensure integrity of legal entity books, IFRS/US GAAP reporting, and manage the month-end close for multiple entities.

You will oversee I2P, Cash Application, intercompany accounting, audits, and SOX compliance while partnering with regional stakeholders to drive process improvements and transformation in a global matrix setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance operations experience.
• Expertise in month-end close and multi-entity reporting.
• US GAAP knowledge; IFRS exposure is a plus.
• Experience leading audits and SOX compliance.
• Experience with I2P, AP, Cash Application, and AR reconciliation.
• Proven leadership and people development skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NAM legal entity books and IFRS/US GAAP reporting.
• Lead month-end close for NAM entities and analyze variances.
• Manage statutory and IFRS audits and auditor relationships.
• Oversee I2P, vendor payments, and exception handling.
• Oversee Cash Application and AR reconciliations in NAM.
• Partner with regional stakeholders and global teams on operational finance.
• Support SOX compliance and internal control improvements.
• Lead and develop the NAM Finance Operations team.
• Drive regional finance transformation and process improvements.
