Job summary
Jabil's Prince George, Virginia site seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer – Medium Voltage to act as the senior technical authority for MV power distribution products and systems, from concept through production. You will guide architecture, validation, and lifecycle support, coordinating with customers, global engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets.

Qualifications
- Deep expertise in MV protection relays and coordination practices.
- Experience with IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, IEC-based protocols.
- Proven leadership across multiple NPI programs and product launches.
- Experience with design for manufacturing and design governance.
Responsibilities
- Own and govern the MV electrical architecture strategy for various platforms.
- Translate requirements into scalable design roadmaps and deliverables.
- Lead system-level decisions for protection, metering, and control systems.
- Define, review, and approve protection philosophies and coordination studies.
- Mentor engineers and develop reusable standards and design guides.
