Job summary

Reworld seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design of capital projects and facility upgrades. You will mentor teams, standardize design practices, and act as a SME to support cross-functional programs across the network.

Responsibilities include from one-line diagrams to relay protection, coordinating with engineering and operations, and ensuring safe, compliant electrical systems. International travel and remote options may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 10 years engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer or licensure preferred.
• Experience with HV/MV/LV distribution and power generation in large facilities.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Design (Core Responsibility): develop/approve diagrams, control schematics, wiring diagrams, arc flash, and protection studies.
• Engineering Standards: act as SME, update standards, provide design support to project teams.
• Troubleshooting: analyze failures, RCA, and develop cost-effective solutions.
• Lead projects: manage multiple electrical projects, mentor junior staff, ensure alignment with standards.
