Job summary

WSB is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multi-discipline municipal projects across Central Texas, from proposal through closeout, including client meetings, hearings, and public involvement. You will coordinate engineers, technicians, and staff, potentially on-site in staff augmentation settings, and manage CIP programs with municipal clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school.
• Registration as a professional engineer (or the ability to obtain registration within six months).
• 8+ years municipal experience; direct experience working for a municipality.
• Experience with City of Austin is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of multi-discipline projects and clients from the proposal process to project closeout.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities including client meetings, public hearings, and public involvement events.
• Anticipate client needs and tailor communication accordingly.
• Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff across locations; monitor progress.
• Deliver CIP programs and manage on-site staff augmentation as needed.
• Establish and maintain relationships with municipal clients and ensure requirements are met.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with municipal codes and environmental standards.
