Job summary

WSB is seeking a Project Manager for municipal projects to advance a growing portfolio of multi-discipline initiatives across the United States. The role involves planning, directing, and coordinating client meetings, hearings, and events, while managing budgets and timelines.

You will lead teams across locations, work with municipal staff to deliver CIP programs, and help grow client relationships. Strong PE registration in Minnesota is preferred, with a senior PM title possible for the right

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school.
• 7+ years municipal experience; direct experience with a municipality is a plus.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of multi-discipline projects from proposal to closeout.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate client meetings, public hearings, and public involvement events.
• Manage time frames and budgets.
• Anticipate client needs and tailor communication accordingly.
• Lead, coordinate and delegate work to multiple teams in multiple locations.
• Deliver CIP programs and projects for municipal clients, potentially on-site in staff augmentation settings.
• Formulate, track and meet budgets and schedules.
• Maintain open communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare project/client correspondence and documentation.
• Participate in and lead business development activities with new and existing clients.
• Plan, lead and participate in client meetings and networking events.
• Develop new client contacts and relationships across expertise areas.
• Understand alternative funding sources for municipal projects and secure funding.
