Job summary

MWM DesignGroup is seeking a Civil Infrastructure Senior Project Manager to lead public works and utilities projects from our Austin office in Central Texas. You will guide project teams across disciplines, ensure design quality, schedule adherence, and budget alignment, and serve as the primary point of contact for public-sector clients.

The ideal candidate has 14+ years in civil engineering with 4+ years in staffing and directing infrastructure projects, plus a Texas PE license or eligibility

Qualifications

• Texas PE license required or eligible to obtain within 3 months.
• 14+ years of civil engineering experience, with 4+ years managing infrastructure project teams.
• Experience leading utilities/public works design projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams from proposal through construction, ensuring design quality, schedule adherence, and budget alignment.
• Serve as the primary contact for public-sector clients, building lasting relationships through clear communication and reliable delivery.
• Provide senior-level review of utilities and public works design, including water, wastewater, storm water, and transportation infrastructure.
• Mentor project engineers and staff to build technical skills and project management capability.
