Job summary

Apex Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking a Market Leader to head its Municipal services in Central Minnesota. This senior role focuses on growing and sustaining client relationships with public and private clients and aligning with Apex’s strategic plans.

The ideal candidate will drive short- and long-term revenue goals, monitor sector performance, and oversee budgets while mentoring staff and expanding market presence through conferences and proactive outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with 10+ years civil/municipal engineering experience.
• Licensed engineer in Minnesota or eligible to obtain license within 6 months.
• Experience in municipal engineering, construction, and public works/utilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional engineering services including planning, design, specs, plans, reports, and project management.
• Manage and grow Apex’s Municipal services in Central Minnesota; develop short- and long-term revenue goals.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships; pursue, serve, and manage municipal clients.
• Mentor project managers in contract development, profitability, and risk management.
• Lead business development and marketing activities for municipal services; attend conferences and events.
