Job summary

Apex Engineering Group in St. Cloud, MN seeks a senior Market Leader to develop and maintain municipal services for public and private clients in Central Minnesota.

You will manage and grow the municipal sector, report to the Municipal Sector Leader, and attend key meetings in person with clients and operations teams. You will lead strategic planning, supervise staff, mentor project managers, and drive revenue growth while promoting Apex at industry events and professional organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and 10+ years of civil or municipal engineering experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain Minnesota license within 6 months.
• Experience with municipal engineering, public works/utilities, and working with Minnesota agencies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional engineering services including studies, planning, design, specifications, and construction administration.
• Manage client relationships and pursue new opportunities in municipal and infrastructure sectors.
• Mentor project managers on contract development, profitability, and risk management.
• Lead business development and marketing activities for municipal services; attend conferences and meetings.
