Job summary

Apex Engineering Group, Inc. in Dickinson, ND seeks a senior leader to manage municipal engineering growth across Minnesota and North Dakota, overseeing client relationships, project pursuits, budgets and staffing.

You will mentor engineers, help develop revenue goals, and represent Apex at conferences. Travel and long hours may be required, with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive base pay.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with 10+ years of municipal engineering experience and 7 years of project management experience.
• Licensed engineer to practice in MN and/or ND.
• Experience with municipal engineering, public works/utilities in MN/ND.
• Experience with public agencies located in Minnesota and/or North Dakota.
• Experience developing business and managing personnel in the consulting engineering industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of client relationships, discuss project opportunities and contracts.
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships to win work in municipal/infrastructure design and construction.
• Collaborate with sector leaders on pursuits and staffing.
• Develop and execute revenue goals; monitor budgets and staffing.
• Lead municipal leadership communications and report financial progress.
• Travel and long hours may be required.
