Job summary

You will handle payroll processes, compliance reviews, tax forms, and setup configurations; collaborate with teams and clients to deliver accurate work; CPP certification is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of payroll experience in a consulting firm, payroll provider, or in-house payroll.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience can substitute for degree.
• Strong knowledge of multistate payroll regulations and forms.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll consulting engagements across clients, industries, and geographies.
• Assist in assessing and improving payroll processes, controls, and procedures.
• Perform multistate payroll compliance reviews, including federal, state, and local regs.
• Assist with payroll tax activities, including forms like 941, 941-X, W-2C.
• Support payroll setup and configuration for earnings, deductions, and tax treatments.
• Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies, risks, and improvements.
• Research and apply payroll regulations, including reciprocity and multistate considerations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver timely, accurate work.
• Communicate payroll concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to project deliverables and ensure timely completion.
