Job summary

ARES eMITS in Houston, TX is seeking a Multimedia Systems Engineer to design, install, configure Microsoft Teams Rooms certified systems in NASA collaboration spaces. You will lead engineering efforts, prepare detailed plans, and guide installations across multiple projects with strong stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS and 8–12 years of related experience with a relevant engineering certification for Microsoft Collaboration Systems.
• Experience designing, installing, and configuring Microsoft Teams Rooms certified appliance-based systems.
• Must maintain current Microsoft Teams Rooms certifications as technology evolves.
• Familiarity with NASA standards, 508 compliance, and energy-savings requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, install and configure Microsoft Teams Rooms certified, appliance-based systems, including compute appliances, touch consoles, cameras, microphones, speakers, displays, and content ingest.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide daily/weekly project reporting.
• Provide technical analysis for new hardware systems, upgrades, risk assessments, and implementation plans.
• Participate in standards maintenance and commenting on NASA standards changes and hardware evaluation.
• Stay current on industry trends as they relate to evolving collaboration space solutions.
• Draft detailed engineering plans, analyses, workflows, and cost estimations.
