Job summary

ARES Corporation seeks a Multimedia Systems Engineer in Houston to design, install, and configure Microsoft Teams Rooms certified systems in NASA collaboration spaces. You will lead projects, conduct technical analyses, and ensure compliance with NASA standards and security requirements.

You will collaborate with product owners and customers, document procedures, and participate in lifecycle planning while travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS degree and 5 years of related experience.
• Must hold a Microsoft Teams Rooms certification.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience installing and configuring Teams Rooms appliance-based systems.
• Familiar with NASA standards, 508 compliance, and energy-savings standards.
• Experience with SharePoint Online and Box for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, install and configure Teams Rooms certified systems.
• Manage multiple project tasks and provide daily/weekly reporting.
• Provide technical analysis for hardware upgrades and risk assessments.
• Participate in standards maintenance and NASA standards changes.
• Evaluate non-standard room approaches for usability.
• Contribute to lifecycle planning and upgrade roadmaps.
• Participate in meetings with Product Owners, customers, and stakeholders.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Travel for installation, site surveys, and center visits as needed.
• Maintain relevant Microsoft Teams Rooms certifications.
