Job summary

Berkadia is seeking a Mortgage Banking Real Estate Analyst–Deal Management to support its national Agency origination platform. You will underwrite, size, and price multifamily loan opportunities, prepare internal materials, and manage quotes in Salesforce, while presenting deals to Mortgage Bankers and training new hires.

The role requires market analysis of rents, cap rates, vacancy, and industry trends, with collaboration across Credit, Production, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal/external customers
• Experience underwriting agency (GSE) multifamily loans is advantageous
• Ability to review, size, and price multifamily transactions with minimal oversight
• Proven collaboration in a fast-changing environment while maintaining confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate with Berkadia’s mortgage banking network regarding products and policies
• Independently review, size, and price multifamily transactions during the quote process
• Engage with Fannie Mae during the quote process and draft quotes
• Prepare internal approval memos for Berkadia’s Credit Committee
• Analyze multifamily market data to evaluate loan opportunities and inform platform strategy
• Present deals and address questions from Mortgage Bankers regarding pricing and submissions
• Lead training for new hires in the Mortgage Banking Real Estate Analyst-Deal Management network
• Other duties as assigned
